How to create a gourmet vegetarian meal in 5 easy steps

Arlene's CEO and Creative Chef, Arnaud Thulliez, invites you into his kitchen to prepare another delicious plant-based meal. This time, he starts with our plant-based Classic Kebab and compliments it with a grilled halloumi cheese topped off with a warm almond dressing. Classic Kebab with Grilled Halloumi and Warm Almond Dressing (Vegetarian friendly) 


Ingredients: (Serve 2)

Arlene Classic Kebab ( 2 pieces) 
Halloumi cheese (4 slices)
One large plum tomato (sliced) 

Warm Almond Dressing 

2 tablespoons Slivered Almonds
2 tablespoons Olive Oil 
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice 
2 tablespoons Chopped Flat-Leaf Parsley 

Garnish:
1 tablespoon Finely Sliced (Julienned) Green Apple
Salt and Pepper
Micro Herbs 

 

Step 1

Pan fry the sliced Halloumi cheese in olive oil until golden brown

Step 2

Pan fry the classic kebabs (from frozen) with olive oil in a nonstick pan, cook at medium heat until golden brown

 

Step 3

In a pan, sauté the slivered almonds in olive oil, add the chopped flat-leaf parsley,  seasoning and lemon juice. Do not overcook

 

Step 4

In a bowl, mix the micro herbs with the finely sliced apple and season with a spoon of the almond dressing

 

Step 5

Assemble!
